At Re:Build Manufacturing, we practice Manufacturability for Design (MFD), an approach that brings manufacturing considerations into the earliest stages of product development, well before detailed part geometries or production decisions are locked in. Unlike traditional Design for Manufacturing (DFM), which is applied later to refine a nearly finished design, MFD helps accelerate innovation from the start.
While many companies use DFM to drive cost savings, our MFD approach is about moving faster, reducing risk, and enabling smarter product development, benefiting both the customer and the manufacturer.
